Addition Reflects Continued Demand for Catalyst Technology and Services by Corporate Legal Departments  

Denver—September 24, 2018—Catalyst has named Daniel Gold, a veteran business leader with more than 15 years’ experience in e-discovery and technology, to be Senior Director of Corporate Accounts in the Midwest. In this role, Gold will advise corporate clients on technology-driven strategies, including advanced analytics and technology-assisted review, to help lower the total cost of litigation, investigations and regulatory compliance.

“Daniel’s deep expertise crosses the corporate, legal and IT realms, and he brings a unique managed services perspective to helping clients reduce the costs of discovery and address complex e-discovery challenges,” said Justin Feferman, Catalyst Senior Managing Director. “We are excited that he’s joining our team.”

Before joining Catalyst, Gold was Vice President, Managed Services for FlexManage, an IT managed services company, where he was responsible for P&L, strategy and service delivery. From 2014 to 2017, Gold was Director, Solution Architect for Epiq Systems. During his tenure, Gold consulted with law firms and corporations on how to be more productive in and efficient by shifting to a managed services business model.

Earlier in his career, Gold held senior roles with Modus eDiscovery, LexisNexis and Robert Half International. He also was an attorney for Schottland, Manning, Caliendo & Thomson, P.A. and was Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jamie S. Perri of the Superior Court of New Jersey, where he was also certified as a mediator by the Administrative Office of the Court (AOC).

Gold holds a B.S. from Ithaca College and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. He frequently educates legal professionals through CLE courses and writes on the advancements in legal technology, and is based in Kansas City.
