Lauri Stoni

Denver—July 12, 2018—Catalyst has expanded its enterprise consulting team with the addition of Laurie Stoni, a veteran e-discovery expert with 20 years’ experience, as a lead enterprise consultant. In this role, Stoni will advise and collaborate with corporate clients to design and execute strategies across the litigation, regulatory compliance and legal data management lifecycles to improve operational efficiencies and reduce associated costs and risks.

“As corporate law departments transform into high-performing business units, general counsel and their staff are adopting new technology and evolving best practices to keep discovery budgets on track,” said Catalyst vice president of enterprise solutions Eric Willis. “Laurie brings an established track record of addressing clients’ pain points with the right combination of innovative technology and services to optimize process, help clients make data-driven decisions and improve the bottom line.”

Before joining Catalyst, Stoni was a consultant with Aitheras, where she worked with the Department of State to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of its e-discovery practices and provided recommendations for new technology. From 2013-17, Stoni was senior e-discovery consultant and solutions architect at Conduent (formerly Xerox Corporation), where she consulted with corporate legal departments and their law firms on solutions to meet discovery needs. During her tenure at Conduent, Stoni designed new offerings, including managed services for a Fortune 10 automotive company, and expanded the company’s presence in Asia.

Earlier in her career, Stoni served as national director of client services at Daegis (now part of OpenText), where she oversaw client satisfaction and spearheaded efforts to develop new services, including document review and e-discovery analytics, to increase efficiency and reduce costs. From 2002 to 2006, Stoni was the lead e-discovery project manager and national trial coordinator at Fulbright & Jaworski. Previously, she served as litigation applications manager at CACI, where she reengineered the Department of Justice’s Office of Litigation Support case management processes to take advantage of new technology.

“It’s an exciting time to join Catalyst, especially as it continues to grow its enterprise footprint with a proven, full-EDRM solution backed by a growing professional services and consulting team,” said Stoni. “I’m looking forward to being a part of such a dynamic company.”

Stoni received a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and holds a Paralegal Certificate, Paralegal Studies, from Northeastern University.
