Catalyst News Gray Wallington

Denver, CO–March 12, 2018–Catalyst has named Gray Wallington, a veteran business leader with more than 15 years’ experience in e-discovery and technology, to be senior director of enterprise accounts. In this role, Wallington will collaborate with corporate clients on technology-driven strategies, professional expertise and advanced analytics to more effectively manage litigation, investigations and regulatory compliance and lower costs.

“Gray brings a keen understanding of corporate, legal and IT perspectives to helping our clients solve not only the complexities of e-discovery, but larger legal data and knowledge management challenges as well,” said TJ Gill, Catalyst’s vice president of sales. “Gray’s experience in advising corporate clients on navigating complex technology, process and legal issues is invaluable and we’re excited to welcome Gray to our team.”

Before joining Catalyst, Wallington was director of e-discovery and data management with Nextra Solutions, a spin-off from Nexsen Pruet, LLC. During his tenure at Nextra Solutions, Wallington was responsible for advising clients on e-discovery strategies, cybersecurity and information security, along with best-practices for understanding and reducing data volumes to ultimately lower discovery costs. From 2012 to 2017, Wallington served as director of e-discovery for Nexsen Pruet, LLC. In that role, he had overall responsibility over the litigation support department, document review services, and development of procedures for document retention and e-discovery, and consulted with clients on risk and exposure related to e-discovery.

Earlier in his career, Wallington was a litigation technology expert at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he oversaw and managed e-discovery projects and technology for all U.S. Attorneys’ Offices.

“Catalyst continues to prove its value time and time again to enterprises, delivering demonstrable cost savings and risk reduction throughout the e-discovery lifecycle,” said Wallington. “I’m looking forward to being a part of such a fast-growing and forward-thinking company.”

Based in South Carolina, Wallington graduated from Presbyterian College with a B.A. in History and Political Science.
