New E-Discovery Tools Enhance Review Speed and Accuracy and Automate Tedious Tasks

Denver, CO—September 21, 2015—Reviewing for potentially privileged documents in e-discovery can be risky, tedious and time consuming. Let one missed document slip through the cracks and the impact can be disastrous.

New technology tools and techniques can automate some of the painful tasks associated with privilege review and provide greater certainty of accuracy, while also reducing the overall time and cost of the review.

On Sept. 24, as part of its Practice Makes Perfect educational series, Catalyst will present a free webinar describing how to use new technologies to organize and focus your privilege review, making it more efficient and thorough.

The webinar, Protecting Privilege: Improving a Painful Process with Technology, will demonstrate how to:

  • Quickly identify potentially privileged documents.
  • Increase the speed of human review with double-ended workflows.
  • Use technology assisted review in conjunction with analytics tools to maximize recall.
  • Automate privilege logging and redactions to make them less burdensome.
  • Safeguard the process using TAR 2.0 to QC review and "rescue" missed documents.

Two former trial lawyers who are now managing directors of Catalyst's Professional Services group will be speakers for this webinar. Mark Noel is a specialist in helping clients use TAR, advanced analytics and custom workflows to handle complex and large-scale litigations. Thomas C. Gricks III has more than 25 years' experience as a trial lawyer and in-house counsel and is one of the nation's leading authorities on the use of TAR in litigation.

"This webinar is about increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the privilege-review workflow," said Mr. Noel. "Technology helps you to organize and focus your efforts, making them more effective. In the end, the overall process is faster and less painful."

The webinar takes place on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. Eastern time. Registration is free but preregistration is required. Those unable to attend the live webinar can register to receive a recording after the webinar is completed.  Click here to register.
